This charcuterie board is made from a salvaged cabinet door. After the antlers were burned on the wood, it was sanded, and bathed overnight in food grade mineral oil. Finally, it drip dried. It is fully treated and ready to use.
Caring for your charcuterie board: Handwash only using dish soap and water. Do not soak. Dry thoroughly after washing. Oil regularly with food grade mineral oil, especially if your board is getting frequent use. This will protect the wood from moisture that will cause warping. Use kosher salt and halved lemons or vinegar and baking soda to get rid of smells and bacteria. U
