Apply our vegan Prickly Ash Oil to sore joints, muscles and tendons. Prickly ash berries stimulate circulation and bring relief to these areas, alleviating sharp pain and inflammation caused by arthritis, tendinitis and overuse. We also recommend the oil to put on cold hands and feet and for women, relief from menstrual cramps.
This native Wisconsin shrub is the northern most citrus fruit in the United States. It's berries are related to szechuan peppers and when you apply this oil to your skin, it has a slight warming sensation.
Directions: Massage oil thoroughly into skin as needed. Keep away from eyes. Do not rub your eyes with oil on your hands, it can burn. External use only. For cold feet, massage into feet and put on a good pair of warm socks. The oil will increase circulation and the socks will help to keep the heat in.
Ingredients: wild-harvested prickly ash berries infused in extra virgin-first cold pressed olive oil
We harvest this berry by hand during late summer. Since harvesting is very tedious and sometimes painful because of the thorns of the prickly ash shrub, we only have a limited amount available each year.
