This vibrant patchwork mini quilt will look fantastic in your home, however you decide to use it, be it as a place mat, small table topper, large mug rug or wall hanging. It was pieced into wonky versions of the traditional log cabin pattern with a rainbow of hand dyed Indonesian cotton batik fabrics. Measures 18.5 X 12.5 inches, approximately.

I pieced and quilted this on my sewing machine in my smoke free home. I used a newsprint pattern cotton fabric with uplifting quotes on the back back. The middle layer is Warm and Natural's cotton, low loft batting. This means the quilt will lay flat and is not puffy, adding to its modern appearance. After free motion quilting it I finished it with a double fold binding. Machine washable. May use a hot iron.
